Hi! Welcome to Traveling For Your Health!
My name is Dora, and I am an RN with over 12 years of experience caring for critically ill patients in the ICU. I have spent countless hours helping others to overcome illness and improve their health. My experience has shown me that optimal health is only achieved through the care of not only the physical body, but also through the care of the emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual well-being of a person.
OPTIMAL WELLNESS – OUR BEST SELF
Hollistic wellness is key to achieving optimal health.
Too often we focus only on our physical well-being. Whether its striving to fit into our favorite jeans, or overcoming illness, when our physical well-being struggles, it becomes center stage, making it difficult to nurture other aspects of our being.
True wellness is achieved within a balance of all aspects of our being. Our physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and intellectual well-being are all interconnected with each other. Become the healthiest version of you by improving the health of each aspect of your being.
TRAVEL CAN BE GREAT FOR ALL ASPECTS OF YOUR BEING
I have a passion for travel and how it can have a positive effect on the health of your entire being. Whether it is a weekend away merely 10 miles from home, or a two-week getaway on the other side of the globe, your health will reap many benefits from a valuable investment in your overall wellness. Traveling removes you from your day to day stress, and gives you a chance to focus on you. Relieve stress, reduce your risk of heart disease, reduce your risk of depression, and increase your creativity.
INVEST IN YOURSELF AND LIFT OTHERS UP TO CREATE THE BEST POSSIBLE YOU
In these difficult times, especially as we face global pandemic, it has never been more critical for us to achieve our healthiest version of ourselves. Learning from each other is also beneficial as we nurture our spiritual and social well beings together, helping to strengthen each other. It is my hope to inspire everyone here to improve the health of their entire well-being, not just their physical health, and to share all the positive health benefits that traveling can have.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
Dora B. RN
